Religious Education

At Greenholm, children are encouraged to learn about respect, empathise  with and celebrate the diversity of the many faiths, customs, cultures and non-faiths within the school community. They embrace their own cultural identity and respect the differences and similarities of others.

Children’s social, moral, spiritualand cultural wellbeing is developed through the curriculum areas of Religious Education and Collective Worship, but also through knowledge of the UNICEF rights of the child, PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) and SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning).

Children are able to become welcoming, accepting and empathetic members of the local and global community
